What is BTrackS Testing?
BTrackS is a brand of balance testing that tells us how steady you are on your feet—and how your balance compares to others your age.
What does BTrackS measure?
BTrackS Balance Testing is a quick, objective way to measure your balance and stability using a highly sensitive force plate. It will tell us your balance performance compared to age-based norms, can estimate your risk of falling and give insight into how well your body uses vision, inner ear and sensation to stay upright.
What to expect:
You’ll stand comfortably on a small balance platform
The test is usually done with eyes open and/or closed
Each trial lasts about 20 seconds
The system measures tiny movements (called postural sway)
The full test takes just a few minutes
You should wear comfortable clothes and supportive shoes
