Courtney Floyd, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to helping patients achieve long-term health through preventive care, lifestyle changes, and personalized medical treatment. She cares for adults at all stages of life at The Laurel Highlands Center in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, with a special focus on weight management, metabolic health, and sustainable wellness.

Dr. Floyd earned her undergraduate degree in communications and biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before attending Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she graduated with honors. She completed her family medicine residency at Latrobe Hospital in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, and has been board-certified in Family Medicine since 2016.

Committed to expanding her expertise in preventive health, Dr. Floyd obtained board certification in Obesity Medicine in 2020 and has been continuously developing an evidence-based approach to treating patients with obesity that focuses on more than just diet alone.

Dr. Floyd has practiced family medicine and obesity medicine in the Latrobe area since 2013, building long-standing relationships with patients and supporting them in making meaningful, sustainable health changes. Her approach to care focuses on prevention, long-term wellness, and empowering patients with the tools and guidance they need to live healthier lives.

Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Floyd has proudly made Latrobe, Pennsylvania, her home. She remains deeply committed to serving the community where she lives and practices, providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals and families throughout the region.
