What does VO2 Max measure?

VO₂ max testing measures how much oxygen your body can use during exercise. It’s one of the best ways to understand your cardiovascular fitness, endurance, and overall healthspan. It will give insight into your cardiovascular fitness, endurance capacity, metabolic efficiency and biological fitness age.
What to expect:
You’ll exercise on a treadmill or stationary bike
You’ll wear a comfortable mask that measures your breathing
The intensity gradually increases every few minutes
We monitor your heart rate, oxygen use, and effort level
The test usually lasts 8–12 minutes
You should wear running or walking shoes and comfortable clothing for exercise
